Greetings!

Welcome to the official website of the Sigma Sigma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Sigma Sigma Omega (SSO) is a small chapter with a big heart. Chartered in 1990 and reactivated in 2000, SSO has continued to uphold the Sorority’s mission of “Service to All Mankind”. We have done this through our programs and community service projects we hold year after year.

Our chapter members are a diverse group of women who come with various skills and talents that greatly enhance our chapter and our sorority. The one thing we hold in common is our love for Alpha Kappa Alpha and our support in keeping her ideals and values alive and well. This love is the basis for our chapter motto – “Sigma Sigma Omega: Sisterhood and Service on Overdrive”.

If you are looking for a graduate chapter that works hard but also has loads of fun, then look no further. SSO is it! We invite members of Alpha Kappa Alpha to visit us at one of our chapter meetings which are held every 2nd Saturday of the month (except July and August). Be warned, once you visit, you will be so overwhelmed with the feelings of love and sisterhood; you will want to join right away!
